Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 6th August 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposals are contrary to policy G8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan. Having regard to its excessive size and siting in close proximity to 19 and 21 (Flats 1 and 2) Blenheim Road, the proposals would result in an unneighbourly and overbearing form of development that would lead to loss of light and overlooking thereby detracting from the residential amenities currently enjoyed by the occupants of those properties.

That the proposals are contrary to policy G10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan. The proposals would result in the increased use of a substandard access and an increase in the occurrence of vehicles stationary on the adjacent highway, both of which would be detrimental to the safety and convenience of users of the highway.
