Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That the surfacing of the compound shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on plan reference 02VC received 22 June 2001.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
Policy G8 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
Before the development is commenced, investigation shall take place to establish whether the site is contaminated. In the event that contamination is identified a detailed site investigation shall be carried out to assess the degree and nature of the contamination present, and to determine its potential for the pollution of the water environment. The method and extent of this site investigation shall be agreed with the Planning Authority prior to commencement of the work. Details of appropriate measures to prevent pollution of groundwater and surface water, including provisions for monitoring, shall then be submitted to and approved in writing by the Planning Authority before development commences. The development shall then proceed in strict accordance with the measures approved.
Reason: To prevent pollution of the water environment in accordance with Policy G7 of the
Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
