Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That the roof shall be covered with clay tiles a sample of which shall first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the works commence.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory in accordance with
Policy Con 6 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That all rainwater goods shall be constructed of cast iron.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory in accordance with
Policy Con 6 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent to demolish any part of the building, the applicant shall take such steps and carry out such works as shall, during the progress of the works permitted by this consent, secure the safety and stability of that part of the building which is to be retained.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building in accordance with
Policy Con 6 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the stone plinth on the extension shall not exceed 225 mm above the base of the building as confirmed in the applicants letter dated 11 May 2001.
Reason: To protect the character and appearance of the listed building in accordance with
Policy Con 6 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
