Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 11th April 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposal would be contrary to policies S1 and S7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan in that it would result in the loss of a retail outlet thereby reducing the attractiveness of the street for shopping and undermining the viability of the remaining shopping area. Furthermore no evidence has been submitted to show that the property has been marketed as a retail outlet and that there is therefore not a continuing demand for a retail outlet.
Appeal
No appeal lodged.
