Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That samples of all materials to be used in the external construction and finishes of the works hereby permitted shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the works are commenced.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character of the listed building in
accordance with Policies G1, CON6, CON7, CON9 and CON10 of the adopted
South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows, external doors and rainwater goods has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed
building in accordance with Policies G1, CON6, CON7, CON9 and CON10 of the
adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the brickwork to be used in the rebuilding of the barn and extension shall be laid in a Flemish bond.

adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That a description of the steps and works to be undertaken and carried out under this consent shall be submited to the Local Planning Authority before any work of demolition is begun and no work of demolition shall be begun until the said Authority has signified in writing its approval to the proposed steps and works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
