That the proposal would be contrary to Policy H6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan which states that planning permission will not be granted for new houses within smaller villages in the Oxford Green Belt. There are no very special circumstances in this case to justify development contrary to the Development Plan.

That the erection of a dwelling on this site would result in a cramped and intrusive form of development which would be out of character with existing surrounding development and would not provide adequate standards of amenity and privacy for occupiers of the existing, proposed dwellings, contrary to Policies G1 and G8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
