That having regard to the prominent location of the site in relation to the River Thames, the Thames path and the green to the front of River View the proposal to add large dormer windows in the front elevation in particular and the flat roof garage to the side with balcony above represents an unacceptable form of development which would detract significantly from the attractive riverside setting and the visual amenity of the area. As such the proposal is contrary to policies G1, C4 and H12 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
