Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That where possible the existing bricks and roof tiles shall be reused for the repair of the brick plinth and retiling of the roof and where any replacements are required they shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the listed building in accordance with Policies G1,
CON5 and CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To safguard the character of the listed building in accordance with Policies G1,
CON5 and CON6 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That all rainwater goods shall be constructed of cast iron.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with
Policies G1, CON5 and CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That all existing wall and roof timbers and trusses shall be retained.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the listed building in accordance with Policies G1,
CON5 and CON6 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the barn shall be used only for purposes incidental to the enjoyment of the dwellinghouse as such, and for no other purpose whatsoever.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area in accordance with Policies G1, CON6 and
H12 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
