Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its excessive size relative to the width of the site, and to its prominent corner location, the proposed extension represents a cramped, intrusive and inappropriate form of development, which would detract from the character and appearance of the existing dwelling and the visual amenity of the locality, contrary to Policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That, having regard to the increased requirement for car parking and to the lack of appropriate on-site spaces, the proposals are likely to lead to increased on street parking, close to a road junction which would be detrimental to the safety and convenience of users of the highway, contrary to Policy G11 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
