Description
Conversion of existing buildings into changing facilities and accommodation units for holiday letting. (As amended by drawing accompanying letter dated 31 January 2000 from agent and clarified by drawing accompanying letter from agent dated 17 February 2000 and by letter and enclosures deposited on 24 March 2000).
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That any materials used to make good existing walls and roofs shall be of the same type, colour and texture as those on the existing building.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.
That development shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows, external doors and rainwater goods has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.
That, notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987, the premises shall only be used for holiday lettings as specified in the application, and in particular shall not be used for permanent residential accommodation
Reason: To comply with the Council's policies for development in the Oxford Green Belt and in view of the means of access to the site which would be substandard for a use generating greater traffic flows.
That a scheme for the landscaping of the site, including the planting of live trees and shrubs, the treatment of all ground surfaces and details of any new fences or walls shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of the development hereby permitted. The scheme shall be implemented as approved within 12 months of the commencement of the approved development and thereafter be maintained in accordance with the approved scheme to the complete satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority. In the event of any of the trees or shrubs so planted dying or being seriously damaged or destroyed within 3 years of the completion of the development, a new tree or shrub or equivalent number of trees or shrubs, as the case may be, of a species first approved by the Local Planning Authority, be planted and properly maintained in a position or positions first approved by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To help to assimilate the development into its surroundings.
That the buildings shall not be occupied until works for the disposal of sewage have been provided to serve the development in accordance with details which shall have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: In the interests of public health and to avoid pollution.
