Planning Permission on 7th February 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That at the expiration of one year from the date of this permission, the use of the land for the standing of a marquee shall be discontinued unless a fresh planning application has been submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: In order that the effect of the development upon the amenities of the neighbouring area can be assessed during this period, and that any future application can be decided on this assessment in accordance with policy TSM6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the use of the land for the siting of a marquee shall not be permitted at any other times other than between 1 May and 30 September, unless otherwise approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the character of the area in accordance with policies C2 and TSM6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That functions conducted on the land hereby permitted for the siting of a marquee shall not be undertaken at any time other than between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm midnight and no persons are to be in the marquee after 12:30 am. Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with policy TSM6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That functions conducted in any marquee sited on the land for which permission is hereby granted shall be restricted to 14 occasions between the dates specified in condition 2 of this permission. Reason: To safeguard the character of the area and to ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with policies C2 and TSM6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That any marquee erected on the land in pursuance of this permission shall be restricted to the siting shown on the plan accompanying the application and, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority shall be clad in plain white canvass. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory in accordance with policies C2 and TSM6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the existing hedges along the north-east and south-west boundaries of the site shall be retained and maintained at a height of not less than 3 metres for the duration of this permission. Reason: To safeguard the character of the area and to ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with policies C2 and TSM6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
