Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 6th November 2000
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposed extensions, by reason of their scale, mass and bulk would fail to respect the design and proportions of the existing dwelling and, by virtue of the scale of the two-storey front extension, would result in a visually intrusive and unduly prominent form of development in the street scene that would detract from the character and appearance of the area. As such, the proposals would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policy H12.
