Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 7th February 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the variation of the condition as proposed would increase the capacity of the site to accommodate goods and would allow for an intensity of use and an increase in the number of vehicular movements (including HGV) into and out of the site. The use of the site in these circumstances would undermine the amenity enjoyed by residents in the local area, including the neighbouring villages of Cuxham and Stadhampton. The development would thereby be contrary to policies G1, G7, G10, E6 and E7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan in that it would have an adverse impact on the neighbouring area, and the general character of the wider locality, which is essentially rural by nature with a restrictive road network.
