Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That samples of all materials to be used in the external construction and finishes of the development hereby permitted shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the development is commenced.
Reason: To respect the special architectural and historic interest of the Listed Building and
character and appearance of the Conservation Area in accordance with
policies CON6 and CON10 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That prior to commencement of development a written scheme of archaeological investigation, including a staged programme of archaeological evaluation and mitigation, shall be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter, the works shall only be carried out in accordance with the agreed archaeological investigation by an appropriately qualified archaeological organisation.
Reason: As the site is of archaeological importance in accordance with policy CON18 of
the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That prior to the commencement of development, large scale sections through the existing church wall and new inner wall to the toilet block shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter, the development shall only take place in accordance with the approved details.
Reason: To safeguard the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building in
accordance with policy CON6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
