Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.

That notwithstanding any indications as to those matters which may have been given on drawing ref. 428100 A, no development shall take place until a detailed specification of the size, type, design and external finish of the window and rooflights has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority and thereafter the window and rooflights shall be as approved. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building.
