Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to their bulk and design the proposed gable and dormer extension would detract from the character and appearance of the existing dwelling. Furthermore having regard to the relationship with the neighbouring dwelling and the position of the bedroom window in the rear elevation of the dormer, the proposal would represent an unneighbourly form of development on account of the loss of privacy it would cause to 25 Beech Rise. As such the proposal would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan particularly policy H12.
