Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That no development shall take place until there has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority a schedule of materials and finishes for the roof of the building.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory and to comply with
policies G8, C2 and C8 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That if within 10 years of the substantial completion of the building, the use of the building for agricultural purposes permanently ceases and, within a further 3 years, planning permission has not been granted for an alternative use, and there is no outstanding appeal, the building shall be demolished, the materials shall be removed from the land and the land restored to its former condition before development took place, or to such a condition as shall otherwise have been agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area and to accord with policy G8 of the
Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the building hereby permitted shall be used only for the purposes of agriculture and the building shall not be used for any other purpose, including for the purpose of keeping horses.
Reason: The use of the building for the keeping of horses or any other non-agricultural uses
is likely to result in an increase in traffic movements to and from the site which
would be unneighbourly and would detract from the rural character of the area. In
these circumstances the development would be contrary to policies C2 and C8 of
the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
