That the renovation of the buildings has involved the use of machine made tiles which are of a uniform and bright colour which are considered to be inappropriate for use on a listed building and which detract from the architectural and historic qualities of the buildings. As such the works are contrary to Policies CON6 and CON7 of South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2001, and to Policies CON5 and CON7 of South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 Second Deposit Draft and advice contained in PPG 15 Planning and the historic environment.
