Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposed dwelling by reason of its size and scale would fail to comply with requirements for replacement dwellings set out in Policy H16 of the Council's adopted Local Plan. Furthermore the proposal by reason of additional height, bulk and design would detract from the character and amenity of this part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such the scheme is contrary to provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan particularly policies G1, C2 and H16. In the opinion of the Local Planning Authority there are no overriding reasons sufficient to justify the grant of planning permission contrary to the Council's adopted policies.
