Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 20th June 2000
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to their excessive size and bulk and in particular to the height of the pool building, the proposed extensions would result in an intrusive and incongruous form of development which would consolidate the amount of built development at Harpsden Wood End to the detriment of the rural character and amenity of this part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Therefore the development would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policy C2.
