Planning Permission on 12th May 2000
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
That prior to the commencement of any work in connection with the permission hereby granted details of any proposed changes in ground levels shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the work shall not proceed other than in accordance with the approved details unless the Local Planning Authority give written agreement to any variation.
Reason: To protect the amenity of neighbouring residents and to secure a satisfactory appearance.
That the hardstanding area hereby permitted shall only be used for purposes in connection with the building presently occupied by Newtown Car Services unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: Separate use of the land would be likely to exacerbate existing car parking problems in the vicinity to the detriment of highway safety.
