That, having regard to its size, bulk and prominent location, the proposed 2 bay carport and woodstore would represent an obtrusive and inappropriate form of development and would result in an undesirable consolidation of the existing development on this site which lies within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, the proposal would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G8 and C2.
