Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
That samples of all materials to be used in the external construction and finishes of the development hereby permitted shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the works are commenced.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building.
That the works shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows, external doors, rainwater goods and ventilation equipment has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the windows, doors, rainwater goods and ventilation equipment used shall be as agreed.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building.
That the works shall not begin until the Local Planning Authority has approved in writing a sample panel of the flintwork to be used in the extension. Thereafter the sample panel shall be retained on site until the works are completed.
