Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposal would be contrary to Policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and to the advice given in the Council's Design Guide for House Extensions.  Having regard to is excessive size, inappropriate flat roofed design, and its unsatisfactory relationship with the existing roof form, the proposed dormer extension would detract from the form, character and appearance of the existing dwelling, and create an undesirable precedent for the construction of similar unsatisfactory extensions.
