Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 30th April 2001
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The development would be contrary to policies C1 and R7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and to advice contained in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide. Having regard to the excessive height and inappropriate detailing of the proposed gates and walls, and to their location in a rural area, the proposals would result in an unsympathetic form of development that would be out of keeping with and detract from the rural character of the area and from the rural amenity of Chinnor bridlepath number 12.
