Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 9th August 2000
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposal would be contrary to policy G2 of the Oxfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and policies G1, G8 and H4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan. Having regard to the size, bulk and massing of the new building, and its proximity to existing residential properties, particularly numbers 48 and 50 Vane Road, it is considered that the proposal would appear both overlarge and out of keeping with its surroundings and would be oppressive and overbearing to existing residential occupiers thereby detracting from their standard of residential amenity.
