That the development would be contrary to policies G5 and H6 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan. The development is, in the opinion of the Local Planning Authority, not essentially required for agricultural or forestry purposes, and represents the erection of a separate and independent unit of residential accommodation on the edge of a small settlement, extending residential development into the open countryside. As such, the proposal is contrary to the provisions of the Local Plan and there is no justification to override these objections.
