Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development would be contrary to the general environmental/
countryside and housing policies of the approved Structure Plan for
Oxfordshire, particularly policies G1, G5 and EN4 and the Council's
adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G5
C2, H5 and H6.  That the proposal would not constitute the infilling
of an appropriate small gap in an otherwise built-up frontage and
would result in the undesirable consolidation and extension of the
built-up area of Whitchurch Hill into the countryside.  Furthermore,
the proposal would result in the loss of an attractive paddock which
is an integral part of the character of this part of Whitchurch Hill
and the setting of 'New Buildings', detracting from the character and
appearance of this part of the Chiltern's Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty.
