Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 25th July 2007
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to the limited size of the application site the proposal would result in a cramped and overly prominent form of development that would be out of keeping with the established character of the area and detrimental to the amenity of neighbours on the basis of its overbearing appearance and the loss of light and privacy it would cause. As such the proposal would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 especially Policies G2, G6, H4, D1 and D2 and to advice in the Council's South Oxfordshire Design Guide, and guidance contained in PPS1 and PPS3.
