Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposed vehicular access by reason of the works required, in particular, the cutting back of the sloping bank and setting back of the access as indicated on Drawing 02C would detract from the character and appearance of the Conservation Area and to the setting of the adjacent listed buildings. As such the proposal would be contrary to Policies G2, CON5 and CON7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the proposal would result in the loss of trees within the application site and threaten the health and longevity of trees within the adjacent property Frogmore to the detriment of the character of the local area and the Conservation Area. As such the proposal would be contrary to Policies C9 and CON7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
