Community transport

Help with getting around South Oxfordshire

If you have difficulty using public transport due to a disability or mobility impairment or because you are unable to drive and live in a location where there is no public transport option, consider community transport.

Community Transport plays an important role in filling in the gaps in the county's transport network. Community led, localised schemes often help improve access to services for many people. Examples include:

  • Car sharing and car schemes
  • Shared Taxis
  • Taxi buses
  • Community Minibuses
  • Dial-a-Ride
  • Some scheduled services
