Information on sports for disabled athletes

The promotion of sport and physical activity for the disabled is very important to the Sports Development team.  We have close links with the Oxfordshire Disability and Inclusion Sports Development Officer, based within the core team of the Oxfordshire Sports Partnership, and work with her to increase the opportunities available for people with both physical and learning disabilities within the district.

We are hoping to develop more sessions for young people with disabilities during the holidays and after school in other areas.  If you would like any further information on this or any other activities  please contact us.

Wheelchair Basketball Taster

Free wheelchair basketball taster on 19 Aug 09.30-11.00 at the White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre in Abingdon.

The session is inclusive and open to all over the age of 10. The session will be divided between 10-16 and over 16’s.
