Following consultation with the statutory bodies, the district council has prepared a screening statement. This states that provided suggested mitigation measures are included, Pyrton Neighbourhood Development Plan may not require a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) as this would repeat policy assessment undertaken by the SEA of the emerging Local Plan.

This work has been carried out for the Pyrton Neighbourhood Development Plan in accordance with the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004 and European Directive 2001/42/EC. Take a look at the SEA Screening Statement (1.2 MB) PDF
