Pyrton Neighbourhood Plan

Have your say on the Pyrton Neighbourhood Plan

Pyrton Parish Council is working on a Neighbourhood Plan, which it has submitted to South Oxfordshire District Council.  This is a document that, when adopted, will give local residents a say in how their community grows and develops over the coming years.

We are inviting comments on the plan and supporting documents during a six-week publicity period from Monday 12 March until 5pm on Wednesday 25 April 2018.

You can view the key Neighbourhood Planning documents below:

Hard copies of the key documents are available to view at St Mary’s Church, off B4009, Pyrton, OX49 5AW. The documents are also available to view at SODC’s office, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Abingdon, OX14 4SB during usual opening hours.

There are also a number of supporting documents, which you can view below:

To submit comments:

Your representation may include a request to be notified of South Oxfordshire District Council’s final decision to adopt the Pyrton Neighbourhood Plan.

How your personal details will be used

Should you respond to the publicity period, your name, address and comments will be forwarded to the independent examiner. This is required by the regulations covering neighbourhood plans.  We have received assurance that they will be kept securely and not used for any other purpose.  All representations and related documents are held by the independent examiner and South Oxfordshire District Council until we have made the relevant statutory decisions on whether to adopt the plan and the deadline for a Judicial Review has passed, which is six weeks after the decision notice has been published.

If you submit comments they will be published on our website along with your name.  If you are responding as an individual rather than a company or organisation, we will not publish your address or any other contact details, just your name.

If you have any queries about the neighbourhood plan please call us on 01235 422600 or email
