Cholsey Neighbourhood Plan

Cholsey Parish Council is working on creating a neighbourhood plan. The process empowers local communities to help direct and shape the way their area grows and develops into the future. A neighbourhood plan will form part of the development plan, which helps to determine planning applications. 

What's Happening Now?

Andrew Ashcroft has been appointed by the district and parish council to carry out the examination. The examiner's role is to make recommendations on the draft plan, and ultimately if the plan should proceed to referendum. There will also be a Public Hearing (547.0 KB) PDF  on Monday 17 September at the Pavillion, Station Road, Cholsey, starting at 1.30pm. Participants are asked to arrive at 1pm for a brief pre-meeting to discuss procedural matters. Hearing Statements were received from Archstone (124.6 KB) PDF and Leavesley Group (512.8 KB) PDF . The examiner has also submitted a factual note (230.2 KB) PDF ahead of the hearing.
