Chalgrove Neighbourhood Plan

Chalgrove Parish Council is working on creating a neighbourhood plan. The process empowers local communities to help direct and shape the way their area grows and develops into the future. A neighbourhood plan will form part of the development plan, which helps to determine planning applications.

What’s happening now?

The Independent Examination of this plan is being undertaken by John Slater. The role of the examiner is to make recommendations on the draft plan, and ultimately if the plan should proceed to referendum. Take a look at the Examiner's further questions (56.4 KB) PDF , and the parish council's response (1.1 MB) PDF .

Mr Slater has commented on the plan. To address his comments the parish council has proposed some changes to the neighbourhood plan and the environmental report, which they are asking the examiner to make in his recommendations.

We recently consulted on the parish council’s suggested revisions to the neighbourhood plan and the environmental report. This lasted for six weeks, and concluded on Thursday 16 August 2018. View the responses received
