Housing land analysis
You can see our July 2011 strike-through versions of the SHLAA report and appendices here. Alternatively you can view our submitted March 2011 version below.
We have updated the housing figures and you can find the updated SHLAA information for March 2011 on the links below. This is to ensure the document is as up to date as possible, as part of our evidence base.
We are working on our Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA). The primary role of this assessment is to identify sites with potential for housing.
The assessment will be a key component of the evidence base for the Local Development Framework (LDF) and is set out as a requirement in PPS3 to support the delivery of sufficient land for housing to meet the community-s needs for more homes. It will support the development of our core strategy and site allocations development plan document.
Our proposed methodology follows that contained in Communities and Local Government-s practice guidance and is available to download from the right hand link. We consulted on this proposed methodology in December 2007 and have considered the responses we received. A table with the comments received and our feedback can be downloaded from the right hand link.
