Town and parish council forum
Annual forum for towns and parishes
The district council holds an annual forum for towns and parishes. The aim of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for discussion concerning local issues and, for local towns and parishes, the opportunity to influence strategic thinking and operational practices.
During the meeting, there is some time for networking, an opportunity to visit information stands and the chance to talk to officers about specific issues affecting your town or parish. There is also a series of break out sessions or workshops covering the important areas of your towns and parishes.
The last forum was held in November 2012. You can download the full report of the forum (470.7 KB)
, and the presentation slides (1.5 MB)
from the forum, to find out more about what we discussed. Please contact us for reports of previous years' events.
