Election results May 2011
The Conservatives won 33 of the 48 seats and retained control of the council. The remaining seats are held by Independents gaining 5, Labour gaining 4, Liberal Democrats securing 4 and Henley Residents Group with 2.

Turn out figures for South Oxfordshire were 48.6 per cent for district, 44.4 per cent for parish and 48.6 per cent for the referendum.
Nationally, voters said No to a switch from the current first past the post to the Alternative Vote (AV) system. Voters in the district overwhelming rejected changing the voting system, with 33,565 voting No and 14,776 Yes.
