Rules for councillors

All councillors and co-opted members of local authority committees are required to comply with a code of conduct.  The code of conduct sets out the ethical framework within which they must operate. The code requires all councillors to declare certain interests when they become a councillor and to declare any changes to these interests within 28 days.
