Councillors

There are 48 councillors directing the work of the council, elected by the voters of South Oxfordshire. Our elections are held every four years. Each councillor represents a ward in South Oxfordshire. You can also find your councillor by searching on your postcode.

Dates and times of council meetings

We put the agenda and reports for each meeting on our website about a week before the meeting.  We also put the minutes there a couple of weeks after the meeting.  You can view the calendar of meetings here and also view information for each committee.

Political structure, leader and chairman

The council has a Cabinet and Leader management structure. The leader of the council is Ann Ducker.  The council is Conservative controlled. The council also has a chairman who attends a considerable number of events in the district during the term of office.
