When is noise nuisance a statutory nuisance?

Before we can take action, we have to be sure the noise constitutes a statutory nuisance. This means we have to prove the noise is detrimental to your health and/or is causing an unreasonable and persistent disturbance to your lifestyle.

The Part III of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 covers noise nuisance. This law empowers us to deal with noise from fixed premises.
