Who can help in a flood
During an extreme flood event the council will work closely with the police, fire and rescue services and the Environment Agency to co-ordinate a response to the incident.
We will provide emergency housing or accommodation if residents have to be evacuated from their homes. We will also provide sandbags to vulnerable homes wherever possible. If you need our help please contact the council on 01491 823000 or 01491 824033 if you are calling about an emergency out of office hours.
