Need help with a community litter pick?

Many residents and local groups who take pride in their local environment support the council's work and help keep their area litter free.

To help these groups we can provide litter picking equipment that people can borrow throughout the year.

The equipment kits are free to borrow, and include high visibility waistcoats, gloves, litter picking sticks and separate bags to collect rubbish and recycling so we can ensure as much litter as possible is recycled.

Anyone can borrow the kits, from a small group of friends or neighbours to clubs, schools or voluntary groups.

At certain times of the year the equipment is in great demand, so before setting your date for your litter pick, please email to make sure the equipment is available for you or fill in the online booking form.

Please note the weekends of 2nd March and 30th March 2019 are fully booked with equipment requests- please choose an alternative weekend.

The council will collect bags of rubbish at pre-arranged points.

Unfortunately, we have no influence over the weather, but wish you well in helping to keeping your community tidy.
