While we all follow the guidance on social distancing and staying at home, it is undoubtably having an impact on our daily lives and it’s important that you take care of your mind as well as your body and to get further support if you need it.
The government’s website has lots of information on what you can do to help your mental health and wellbeing, where to get further support and additional advice for people with specific needs.
Samaritans - if you're having a hard time, they can provide you with advice and support. Call them anytime on 116 123.
CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) is a charitiy that supports men under 45 years old with mental health issues. You can call them on 0800 58 58 58.
Local health and wellbeing support
Age UK have launched a new telephone service for older people who need support if they are self-isolating. Call 01865 411 288 and leave your name and number, someone will call you weekly to see how you are, chat and offer practical support if needed.
Connection Support is a local charity that provides a flexible and tailored support and advice to adults and families in Oxfordshire. You can contact them on 01865 711267.
