Support and Advice
There are lots of organisations available that can provide you or someone you know with support and advice.

- National Drugs Helpline (FRANK) – Information about drugs and drug use, help and advice
- Alcoholics Anonymous – The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking

Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs)
PSPOs are used to stop individuals or groups committing antisocial behaviour in public places. It prevents specific activities and behaviours within designated areas, and can be enforced by us and the Police (including PCSOs). It is important that the order is used proportionately.
County Drug Lines
County Drug Lines (CDL) is the common name given to organised crime where criminal gangs exploit vulnerable children and adults to expand drug dealing and criminal activity into small towns and rural areas. Individuals are exploited, often with violence and intimidation, to support the activity by drug dealing or having their home taken over as a base (a process known as cuckooing).

Many people will be feeling more worried and anxious at the moment, and some may find themselves facing financial uncertainty or difficulties. Those experiencing financial stress may use gambling as a way to cope or fill time.
- Don’t think of gambling as a way to make money. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose
- Set a money limit and try to keep track of what you are spending
- Decide on a time limit in advance, you could even set an alarm to remind you when to stop. Take frequent breaks.
- Never chase your losses as this usually just leads to bigger and bigger losses
- Only gamble when you are not feeling stressed, upset or bored. Balance gambling with other activities, such as going for some fresh air, reading a book or getting in touch with your friends and family
- Alcohol or drugs can cloud your judgement, so it’s always best to avoid gambling when drinking or using drugs
- Be wary of gambling ads on social media timeline feeds. Free spins, matched deposits and new and existing customer offers are used to lure people to their online casino to spend money.
