Didcot - General Information

As revealed at the latest Didcot Community Forum the Council is partnering with the Homes and Community Agency to produce a delivery and action plan to enable the projected growth in homes and jobs in and around Didcot to be effectively managed.

The plan will be produced following a consultative exercise which will involve the entire community which is known as Enquiry by Design (EbD)

This process has been pioneered in the UK by the Princes Foundation and it is felt that it will give an impetus and solid background to the production of a delivery plan for the area.

This will build on past work and surveys which have led to the Core Draft Strategy for South Oxfordshire and also the Master Plan for Didcot Town Centre as well as the emerging core strategy for the Vale of the White Horse District Council.
