Help us set ‘The Way Ahead’ for South Oxfordshire

Tuesday 16 April to Tuesday 14 May 2024.

We are preparing a new plan for the next four years.

It’s very important to us that it reflects the priorities and aspirations of local residents, businesses and community groups. We really want to discuss these plans with the communities we serve to make sure we understand what you value and what areas you want us to focus on.

Playing Pitch and Leisure Facilities Strategies Consultation

Wednesday 13 March to Wednesday 24 April 2024.

Please note, this consultation period has been extended by an additional week and will now close at 11:59pm on Wednesday 24 April.

South Oxfordshire District Council is inviting your comments on a Playing Pitch Strategy and a Leisure Facilities Assessment and Strategy.

These strategies show the need for new playing pitches and leisure facilities across South Oxfordshire, as well as identifying which of our existing pitches and facilities need protecting, upgrading, or expanding. They take account of new and planned housing developments in our districts, and consider the need for new pitch and leisure provision between 2023 and 2041.

Waste Satisfaction Survey 2024

Tuesday 12 March to 11.59pm on Tuesday 23 April 2024.

We would like to know what you think of our waste and recycling services across South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse.

You may recall that we asked for your views on our services in summer 2023. We received over 2,000 responses – thank you to everyone who took part! If you would like to see the summary report from last year, please click here to view the report.

We would now appreciate it if you could take part in this new survey to let us know what you think about waste and recycling, food waste collections and street cleaning services. This will help us to continue to identify satisfaction levels with these services and highlight areas for improvement.
