Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The use of the premises hereby permitted shall be restricted to the hours of 09:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 5:00pm Saturdays, 10:00 am to 4:00pm on Sundays and not at all on Bank Holidays. Reason: In the interests of the amenities of the occupants of nearby properties and in accordance with Policies E5 and EP2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011. Related application(s): P12/S1291/DIS

A new fence shall be constructed at a height of 2 metres along the south-east boundary and partially along the south-west boundary (from the south-east boundary up to the building on site) of the land in accordance with details which shall first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the local planning authority, within 2 months of this permission and the fence as approved shall then be erected within 4 months of this permission hereby approved and thereafter retained without alteration, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason : To help ensure that the development is not unneighbourly or intrusive in accordance with Policies E5 and EP2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

The compressors to the jet wash equipment shall be housed in acoustic enclosures capable of providing, as a minimum, the degree of attenuation detailed in Table 5 of Paragon Acoustic Consultants' report (dated 31 March 2012, ref. 2514_CWNA_2) within 2 months of this permission hereby approved and thereafter retained. Reason: To safeguard the amenities of residents of nearby properties in accordance with Policy EP2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

All plant, machinery and equipment to be used by reason of the granting of this permission shall be installed, maintained and operated so as to ensure that the rating noise level from the equipment does not exceed 45 dBA at the fa§ade of adjacent residential accommodation. Measurement and rating of noise for the purposes of this condition shall be in accordance with BS4142 (1997) 'Method for rating industrial noise affecting mixed residential and industrial areas'. Reason: To safeguard the amenities of residents of nearby properties in accordance with Policy EP2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

That the 2 staff and the 7 customer parking spaces as indicated on the annotated photographs and parking statement received on 30 March 2012, shall be retained and shall not be used for any other purpose at any time. Reason: In the interests of highway safety and in accordance with Policy T1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
