| Decision | Refusal of Planning Permission on 23rd October 2009 | |||||||||||||||
| Conditions / Refusal Reasons |
That having regard to the design, scale and massing, the proposed side extension represents an inappropriate and incongruous form of extension detracting from the character and appearance of the original dwelling. The bulk and design of the extension would be detrimental to the visual amenities of the street scene. As such, the proposal would be contrary to the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, particularly policies G2, G6, D1 and H13 and to the advice in section 6 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
