End Consultation Period   18th April 2006

Decision Telecommunications Development - Approval Refused on 8th May 2006
Conditions / Refusal Reasons That having regard to the height of the proposed mast, its proximity to the existing mast and the sensitive and prominent location, it is considered that the proposal would result in an alien roadside feature and a cluttered appearance in the street scene detracting from the character of the area and the appearance of this part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In addition it is considered that there are alternative less intrusive sites available in the vicinity. As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policies G2, TE1 and C2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
Appeal Appeal Allowed on 19 March 2007
